Implementation

Overview

Fiorano Implementation Services (FIS) methodology is based on best practices evolved over several projects executed in the past. Our project management process includes an iterative approach using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and adheres to Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines providing a structural view into the project. It is part of MS-Project and an essential tool for planning and executing the project. WBS is used to define the work for the project and to develop the project's schedule, resource requirements and costs. It helps to easily communicate the work and processes involved to execute the project

Performance Tuning

Overview

The distributed, asynchronous architecture of the Fiorano platform requires special skills to extract the best performance from the system. Fiorano Performance Tuning Services (FPTS) is designed to help achieve that and train your team to tune the Fiorano platform. It is recommended that a Fiorano Consultant be used for initial projects. As implementations get more complex, a proactive attention to performance gets the most optimal results from the Platform.

Key Activities

  • Analyze and improve various stages of a message flow to achieve the desired throughput and low latency.
  • Tuning various adapter level, flow level, Fiorano server level parameters like thread pools, sessions, JVM configurations and default timeout values.
  • Review flow design to identify bottlenecks and determine the changes to enhance the performance.
  • Fine tune flows to handle large messages.
  • Reviewing deployment topology and fine tune various system level parameters to distribute the load equally onto various servers
