March 25, 2015, Palo Alto, CA. Fiorano Software today announced that Cirrus Aircraft, a recognized leader in general aviation, has deployed the Fiorano platform to enforce new IT architectural standards to scale its engineering and manufacturing processes.
Cirrus needed a centralized solution to enforce new architectural standards to avoid point-to-point integrations, giving a solid enterprise service bus technology. It needed to reduce the time taken to implement new integrations and make changes to existing ones.
With Fiorano's "citizen integration" capability, the ability to perform lightweight, easy-to-use integration, Cirrus was able to seamlessly implement all its integration requirements significantly enhancing developer productivity and compressing time-to-market.
As a mid-sized company, Cirrus wanted flexibility and options in purchases and it went with a Subscription based (SaaS) model for the Fiorano deployment "Fiorano's feature footprint is exactly what we need for a price point that was competitive," concludes Mr. Pichler.
